You better hope you're on my Christmas card list!

Greetings one and everyone. This is half of the fearless Samizdat duo, Tony. On behalf of the group I would like to apologize for the lack of new stuff coming at you these days. J is busy with his education and I am busy making out. Seriously. Making out. It's like all I ever do.

It looks like my last post was over a year ago, pleading with everyone to get to the voting booths. Thanks for nothing there, jerks. Now that the election crap is over we can be honest with ourselves. John Kerry? That was the best we could do? A man who shares the key to a smashed tomato fortune? Imagine what this blog would be about if Howard Dean was elected last November. It would probably be about something less depressing. Maybe that new website that makes your own photos into real postage stamps! (here) Sadly, a 37 cent "my wang" stamp, is the best I can offer you here for happiness.

The last twelve months have been bad. Real bad. First Bush steals the election. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy nut or anything, but he stole this election. He had to. There is no way that the good people of the United States could have voted him back in. It will come out someday. Trust me.

Louisiana got hit with a giant hurricane that destroyed New Orleans. George W. Bush and his cronies were completely unprepared for the disaster. No one can blame Bush for the hurricane. But you better believe he messed up the recovery. Good thing it wasn't a nuclear weapon. I thought the country was prepared for a large disaster or attack, George? What the crap?

Al Qaeda, an organization that Bush repeatedly claims his efforts have made weaker, has attacked 4 times since the beginning of July. July 7th in London, killing 52. July 23rd in Egypt, killing 90, injuring 150. October 1st in Bali, killing 27. November 9th in Amman, Jordan, killing 57, injuring 120. Al Qaeda is also likely responsible for numerous attacks against servicemen in Iraq.

Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff, "Scooter" Libby was indicted by a grand jury for two counts of perjury, one count of obstruction of justice and two counts of making false statements surrounding the desecration of facts leading up to the invasion of Iraq and the outing of a undercover CIA agent. Libby faces $1.25 Million in fines and 30 years in prison. Karl Rove, Bush's Senior Advisor, is still under investigation in the matter.

Republican House Majority Leader, Tom DeLay was indicted by a Texas grand jury of conspiracy to violate election laws and money laundering. DeLay quickly resigned from the House, denying any wrong doing.

And just today Randy Cunningham resigned from the house after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. He admitted receiving $2.4 million in bribes.

The crisis in Iraq (that the Bush administration created) is spiraling out of control. With no clear plan of action and no exit strategy in sight the president has decided to take on another subject all together, immigration, leaving our brave men and women in the line of fire without a leader with the balls to say he made a mistake. It is now obvious that the information that lead us into war was false and soon it will come out that the people in power, mainly Bush, Cheney, Libby and Rove manipulated the intelligence to make a war with Iraq seem justified.

2005 has been a bad year for George W. Bush. With every debacle I ask myself WWHDHD? What would Howard Dean have done? Maybe he would have made similar mistakes. I know he would not have disgraced the office of president like Bush has done. We will take back the House and Senate in 2006 and The White house in 2008.

OBAMA-CLINTON '08
